Palesha won the bronze medal in 4th Asian Para Games

Taekwondo Player Ms.Palesha Govardhan won the bronze medal for the first time in the history of Nepal at the Asian Para Games and gave Nepal a historic medal on Tuesday.

Since Nepal has not won any medal in the Para Asian Games till date, Taekwondo has won the medal for the nation this time and this is the first medal won by Nepal from the Para Asian Games. No special training or foreign training was arranged for para athletes. Despite that, Palesha won the bronze medal in the ongoing 4th Asian Para Games held in Hangzhou, China, by defeating China’s Liting Yang by 14-1 points in the quarterfinals of the women’s under 57 kg weight group at the XSG Sports Center in Hangzhou.

We extend our  joy and congratulate  our Player Ms.Palesha Goverdhan and Coach Mr.Kabiraj Negi Lama for this historical achievement.
